one of my biggest college regrets is not taking more art history classes. I used to think Jackson Pollock’s works were weird and stupid- cool drip painting, dude. but for some reason, when we talked about “Convergence” in class I felt something.
maybe it was the fact that it was an early morning class on a monday. maybe it was the dimmed lights and the bright projector. I don’t know. but I fell in love with it. admittedly, I don’t know enough about the abstract expressionism movement or Pollock or Rosenberg or Greenburg. BUT I do know a lot about how this painting makes me feel.
thus, this piece of art is the newest addition to my apartment over my couch in the living room.
